Seto Machhindranath is a broadly adored divinity of the Kathmandu Valley, and the chariot-pulling celebration is a three-day-long social event.
The third day is celebrated by pulling chariot from Hanumandhoka durbar region to Lagan tole.
The whole structure of the chariot is modeled in the shape of a sanctuary and is pulled with expansive ropes from both sides.
