The development of the six-megawatt Relekhola Hydropower Venture has been completed in Narchyang of Annapurna Provincial Municipality-4 of Myagdi.
The testing has started with the completion of the development of the project’s infrastructure.

According to him, arrangements are being made to begin power generation inside mid-May this year.
He said, “The pipeline associated to bring water from the dam to the control house has been filled with water and the testing has started by a specialized group. The work of development of the physical foundation and establishment of gear has been completed and the work of electrical testing has come to the last stage.”
Pandey said that a dam has been built in Kalokhola at the foot of Khopralek.
Similarly, two 50-metre-long water desander lakes and a control house have been built in Relekhark, and a 3,600-metre-long pipeline has been introduced from the dam to the control house, he said.
A five-kilometer transmission line with a capacity of 33 kV has been built to interface the Relekharka control house, switchyard, and Dana substation.
The structure and hardware to create power by dropping water from a stature of 505 meters to the control house have been built and installed.
The extend whose development started in 2079 B.S. with a target of completing it in two a long time, was influenced by the surge in final September, which harmed the dam and admissions built at Kalokhola.
