A new Chinese electric car brand, Junyao, is to enter the Nepali market. LRR Motors, which is currently selling and distributing Brambi EVs in the Nepali market, will make available the JY Air C5 Ultra in June. LRR Motors Pvt. Ltd. has become an official dealer for Junyaoko Nepal. The Rijunyao Group has airlines and many other businesses in China. Established in 1991, the group has businesses in five main sectors including aviation and auto. In 2023, Junyao Auto was founded. Junyao Auto recently launched two electric JY series, the JY Air C5 Lite and the JY Air C5 Ultra, in the Chinese market. LRR Motors will enter the JY Air C5 Ultra in the Nepali market. The vehicle will be available in the Nepali market within a few days, according to company sources. The vehicle with rear wheel drive and 250 Nm of torque will give you a thrill and smooth ride.
Among these, the JY Air C5 Lite has a 51 kWh LFP battery and gives a range of 355 km on a single charge. The JY Air C5 Ultra has a 64 kWh battery and gives a range of 430 km 9WLTP on a single charge. It can be charged from 30 to 80 percent in 21 to 30 minutes from DC charging. The JY Air C5 Ultrama has a drag coefficient of 0.23 to provide an aerodynamic experience. It has a 15.6-inch touchscreen, wireless CarPlay and Android Auto and intelligent technology including a 360-degree camera. For safety, it has a safety suite with AEB, LDW and RCW and I-size safety seats for child safety.
It uses recyclable materials for environmental convenience. The vehicle can accelerate from zero to 100 km/h in 11 seconds. The 99 kW motor was launched at the Thailand Motor Expo 2024 a few days ago. Junyao Group has airlines and many other businesses in China.
