Lower Solukhola hydro venture nears completion

Construction of the Lower Solukhola Hydropower extend has neared completion. The hydropower venture of 82 megawatt capacity accomplished 95 percent physical advance till date. It is being built at Tingla in the district.The development of control house, burrow way and establishment of turbine and generator, among others have been over in the venture advanced by Lower Solu Hydropower Company. “We are arranging to dispatch the commercial generation of hydropower coming July,” he shared.Even the transmission line has seen 80 percent advance. The extend was propelled since September 2016 with the venture of Rs 16 billion given as credit by the European Bank (Universal Subsidizing Office) counting FMO. The project’s completion has been pointed some time recently September 2025.It is a reservoir-based venture. The store has been set up at Salme range of Solukhumbu.
